The end of October always marks the welcoming of the annual Season of Sauvignon in the beautiful Durbanville Wine Valley. People from all walks of life come to this festival to enjoy the prize winning wine, scrumptious food, kids entertainment and live music. This year Resound Music had the opportunity to present and coordinate the music entertainment at De Grendel Wine Estate offering some of the most spectacular views of Table Mountain and surrounds.
Our artists added the perfect complementing touch to a lazy and relaxed sphere. We had an instrumental duo comprising of Renate Riedemann on violin and Pieter van Helslandt on piano to kick the weekend off with soothing jazz songs. They were followed by local acoustic folk band, Cherry Vinyl.
On Sunday the mood was set by the instrumental jazz trio, The Project Ensemble. They played all sorts of music ranging from jazz standards to FAK songs with their own unique twist - an enjoyable group of musicians! The weekend was then brought to a close with the awesome sounds of Triveno - an indie/pop artist that "paints" with his voice, guitar and acoustic sound on a loop station to bring the listener a full-bodied soundscape.
Festival-goers enjoyed the music so much that some even started dancing!
Feedback from De Grendel personnel: " All of you were fantastic! You had everyone's shoes tapping throughout the weekend!"
We are truly grateful for the opportunity not only to coordinate and present the music for a prestigious brand like De Grendel but also to have the platform to work with incredible artists! Humble and gifted - a divine marriage of character and ability that is rare to find.
